Happy New Year and welcome back to Kindergarten! I hope you had a wonderful and restful break. We are off to a great start this year with an author study. We are reading the fun and entertaining books of Mo Willems.
We learned about the different shapes in the pigeon and how to draw this funny bird.
Ask your child about the story we read today called Pigeon Wants a Puppy. We discussed our favorite pets how we care for our animals. Your child practiced their scissor skills and made finger puppets today. The next book we will be reading is Pigeon Needs a Bath.
